is to try and keep hunters from making the same mistake I made in trying to fulfill
my hunting dreams. I have been traveling to Africa on Safari trips since early 2000
trying to fill my trophy room with animals taken with Bow and Arrow and was unsuccessful.
Then in 2005 I met a young man in Birmingham, Al. named Isan van Zyl, who owns Eulalie
Hunting Safaris. I booked for September of that year when I arrived it was unusual
rainy - it rained 7 out of 10 days - but I still brought home 9 trophies. This is how
patient and determined Isan is for making your dreams become reality. I have been back
to Eulalie now 4 trips ... the last I took my whole family of six, 4 where hunters and
everyone bagged their trophies. I guess what I am trying to tell you is ... if you are
undecided on where to go for a safari this should help. If you don't like to be treated
as if you were at home?, if you don't like good food?, if you don't like hunting trophy
animals?, if you don't like to be around people with integrity and that are honest ... you

experience in their lifetime. World-class game was seen on a daily basis. Each of the species
I took met the qualifications for the Safari Club International Record Book. The guides work
very hard to make sure you are able to obtain true trophy quality animals. Let me warn you
that once you have been, it could become habit forming. My wife also went and we found the
host family to be very gracious. They made us feel at home immediately upon arrival. The food

"Hello Isan. Just wanted to let you know how much my clients and I enjoyed hunting at Eulalie's
hunting grounds. You have great people, the accommodations and meals were super and the
non-hunters who joined their mates loved the solitude and peace they found at your lodge. Not to
mention the animals - fantastic trophies, far better than we expected to find in this day and time.
I have watched many safaris on videos and TV and have never seen on any of them the quality of
animals we took with you at Eulalie Hunting Safaris. I've been in the hunting business most of the
last 35 years and would not hesitate to give your outfit a big thumbs up for anyone who wants to
take a REAL African trophy. By making my hunt an extended 14 day hunt, it gave us the time to wait
for the quality animals I wanted to take, of course all of them with a bow. That's another thing
that I want to praise Eulalie on also, you yourself is a bow hunter so you know how to set your
bow hunting clients up to take that trophy of a lifetime. I guarantee you my friend if I was able,
I would be sitting on the veranda watching animals, instead of sitting in my office writing about it.
Anyone planning on that South Africa hunt should give your outfit a try, and truthfully, EVERYONE
needs to experience Africa at least once in their life. If anyone would like to contact me for a

"I have always wanted to hunt Big Game in Africa as long as I've able to pick up a gun.
In May of 2008, I contacted a Dr. friend of mine by the name of Scott Bryson of N.C.
He informed me of a great guide in South Africa whose name is Isan van Zyl of Eulalie
Hunting Safaris. He told me the long and short of his hunt! This sounded like something
I would be interested in. I contacted Isan and booked a 2 week hunt for Aug-Sept 2008.
The rest is history. My wife, Debbie, and I have hunted Moose, Bear, Mountain Lion, Elk,
Whitetail Deer and Mule Deer, but hunting with Isan was the hunt of a lifetime. Most
guides once they get your money (up front) you were just another number and could care
less if you tagged out on trophy animal. Not with Isan, you get your trophy then he gets
his money. This is the way it should be!! If you do not get your trophy then all you pay
for is room and board, which we say, that alone would be worth the trip. We killed 8 plains
game animals and a female and male Lion, I'm sure he'll show you the pictures! We are also
planning an Elephant, Buffalo and Leopard hunt soon! I hope this will answer all your

"I am not sure words can describe the Africa experience. I was a bit apprehensive about going
to South Africa on my own, this was short lived after arriving and meeting Isan face to face
and spending the next week hunting, scouting and sightseeing with him, I could not have asked
for any better guide/tour guide, his knowledge of the animals and area is incredible. We passed
on several animals which I thought were good trophy size but he takes pride in only harvesting
the true trophy, that is why these animals are available (they can't get trophy size if you don't
let them). The accommodations and food were great, an added bonus is the ability to get to know
Isan, his wife and children. You may come a stranger but will leave a friend. Thanks Isan, Chantel,
